I was born 1979 in Taipei, Taiwan. During my study of
German Philology in Taipei, I worked as research assistant and
interpreter. At age of 25, I came to Germany for a PhD study
about Chaos theory in literature. During that time, I discovered
my passion for book art. So I took up studies in
Communication Design and Illustration in MSD Münster.
After my graduation in 2016, I started working as a freelance
illustrator for publishers, magazines and museums. I’ve been working
with publishers, including NordSüd (CH), Kunstanstifter (DE) ,
Mixvision (DE), Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial (PT), NorthSouth (US), Tectum (DE), Wehrhahn (DE) and Aisthesis-Verlag (DE).
Also, I’ve been working with great clients, including LWL-Museum
für Kunst und Kultur, Konfuzius-Institute Magazine,
Projektgruppe Droste-Sommer 2013, Annette von Droste-
Gesellschaft, LWL-Literaturkommission für Westfalen, WWU Münster,
and Kultur 123 Stadt Rüsselsheim.
So far I’ve illustrated two picture books and written both of them.
